Abstract:
The quarter quadrangle coverage was mathematically generated from latitude/longitude.  It reflects a quarter of the standard 7.5 minute USGS quadrangle.  Currently it is being used in several DNR projects and is available to the public at no charge.
Purpose:
The quarter quadrangle polygons data can be used as a digital layer in various studies.

Point data was mathmatically calculated from one degree latitude/longitude in Visual Basic at .0625 degrees to make a quarter the 7.5 minute USGS standard quadrangles, then imported into Arc/Info and polygon and attribute items added.  Finally projected from latitude/longitude to UTM.
