MEETING OF THE NEBRASKA PLATTE REPUBLICAN CONSERVATION RESERVE ENHANCEMENT PROGRAM (CREP) STEERING COMMITTEE
The Nebraska Department of Natural Resources in conjunction with Federal, state, and local partners implemented the CREP program for the improvement of water quantity and quality, and the enhancement of wildlife habitat, through establishment of vegetative cover to reduce irrigation water consumptive use and agricultural chemical and sediment runoff into waters of Nebraska. The Steering Committee is to advise the Governor’s office on the implementation of this CREP.
Notice is hereby provided that a public meeting of the CREP Steering Committee will begin at 1:00 p.m. Central Standard Time on Wednesday, February 26, 2020, at Room 045 Craft State Office Building, North Platte, Nebraska (200 S. Silber, North Platte, NE 69101). An agenda for the meeting will be made available 14 days prior to the meeting during normal business hours at the NeDNR, and at the following website: www.dnr.nebraska.gov.
