The Upper Niobrara White Natural Resources District (UNWNRD) and the Nebraska Department of Natural Resources (the Department) hereby provide notice that a public meeting related to the jointly developed Integrated Management Plan (IMP) for the UNWNRD will be held on November 16, 2023, at 3:00 p.m. Mountain Time (4:00 p.m. Central Time). Stakeholders and members of the public interested in participating can attend virtually, via Zoom, or in person at the UNWNRD office (430 East Second Street, Chadron, NE). According to the IMP, the UNWNRD and the Department will annually discuss the progress being made toward achieving goals and objectives of the IMP and exchange information on water banking activities, municipal and industrial use and accounting, surface water diversions and streamflow measurements, cancelation of surface water rights, variances granted, and changes in certified acres. An agenda for the meeting will be made available beginning November 9, 2023, during normal business hours at the offices of UNWNRD and on the on the Department’s website at http://dnr.nebraska.gov.
